Back in Tarifa after a week in maroc essaouria . The comp went pretty good for me in the singels i ended up in 2nd place in the doubels i had the change to come back. Alberto rondina came up to me again , he is always riding string and i had a hard heat it was superrrr close and luckly i won and had to face kevin Again. The first final in the doubels i won, but the 2nd final kevin won again. So 2nd place here in Maroc not to bad after al.

We also had the wave comp , i registrated my self just for fun since i have not been training at al for it. The wave,s where quit small and the wind was super strong over power on 6.

I went on my strapless surfboard a had some fun on the water, i had to face Brazilian rider guily brandao who is riding awesome in wave,s and i won over him i was super stoked , in the loosers final i had to face kevin again , and also this one i won. Witch put me in 3th place in the wave contest whoe stoked haha.

Back on the road again , last weekend we had the SS party in west of france Le touget plage, we had a nice party with some wind on sunday and a lot of fun during the weekend. Directly after i flew to Maroco (essaouira) for the Pkra here. My flight was looking prety good with just one stop in Cassablanca but

when i arrived there my flight was canceld so had to wait for about 6 ours pfff i finaly arrived at the hotel at 0630 in the morning. luckly the day of the registration was no wind so i could relaxed a little and chek out the place. yesterday we had day 1 of the comp, also no wind but we went golfing haha we had some fun on the golfcource. And also we had a little surf session in the morning. Today the wind kicked in and we started off with the comp in my second heat i was up against Ariel Corniel who won the last Pkra in Cabarete, we both had a good heat but i luckly won and after had to go against mike schitchoffer and i won as well witch put me in the final against Kevin , but kevin was again on the better hand and won. Congrats. Tomorow will be the doubels , so i am gone go for it .

AFter my 4th place in the singels the wind looked pretty bad and i didn,t expect to ride again, but around 2 o clock the last day the wind came up realy good.

I was power on my 14m and 1 heat on my 12m. First heat to defend my 4th place Local rider Alex Soto , had a good and powerfull heat and past on against Alberto rondina for 3th place, again had a good heat and won over him.  

Next up was Kevin but he was a little to strong for me, eheh next time better! so i finished up in 3th place.

For the it,s quit good didnt have any problems with my knee,s this year here and have a pretty good result. A big respect to the dominican riders there riding so well. pff the do so much tricks.

I have to more 2 days here, get some more training and relaxing. I will fly back home and the next morning will fly again to Tarifa for a week.

2/3/4 of july will be the Slingshot party in Le touqet place (france)

So yesterday we finished the Singels. I had a couple of hard heats. First against Brazilian Evandro da silva who is riding really well.

I went on against dominican Alex Soto, he is also riding realy good , didn,t ride that well but got a couple of good powerd tricks and made it treu.

next up Seb Garat,i was on my 14m witch is not realy my favorite size but i mannaged to win him and got into the next round against kevin, witch i lost.

So i ended up in the loosers final against Alberto rondina who was riding the whole event super stabile and smooth. I had a bad start and chrast my 3 first tricks, in the end i had some good one,s but not enough to make it up.

Today we will have the registration of the PKRA and tomorrow the first comp day.

The water condition is super choppy,after a full dat of kiting your eyes are filled up with salt water hahah.

For the last 3 years i have been here i always had problems with my knee,s of the choppy water, hopefully this year i keep everything in one piece and have a good result as well.

Been quit a time whit out an update from my side. I haven’t been sitting at Home though and doing nothing.

2 weeks ago we had the Brunotti 2011 photoshoot at Mauritus, what a great place. We had wind, wave,s ,sun. And a great time.
Just been there for a week what is way to short , when you are there, travel around the island and you will see amazing spots with nobody there. Clear bleu water and white sand.

Last weekend I spend 4 days at Lago di Garda, where the organized an event with a competition. Champione de Lago di garda.

Slingshot Italy invited me there and I flew over, the place is absolutely stunning, super beautiful. Till about 12a1 o clock there is no wind after the wind starts to pick up and I ride size’s 10/12 and the last 14. Around 5a6 the wind start shifting a bit and it drops as well.

The last day the started with the Pro edition and I had to ride al the way in the end of the day, when the wind was light and gusty. On my 14m I was kind of all right but hard to do some good tricks. Lucky I won as well, so not a bad weekend after all. Had a great time their good food, friendly people and pretty good for kiting.  

Last 4 days I stayed in home to rest a bit before leaving to Cabarete, where I am now. Yesterday I flew from Frankfurt to Puerto Plata.
Not much hassle with the board bags this time, just 40 euro after a quick talk so not to bad. Will be staying here for about 11 days and after will go to Tarifa again.

Wil try to keep you up to date a little from here, but i Am not sure if the internet will work always.

For Recorded we still have 2 more episode,s planned so enjoy it!

I just came back from Leucate (South of france) where we had the 2nd tour stop of the PKRA.

The first competition  day we had some good winds, it was warm and sunny so basicly a perfect day.

The start of pretty early around 8 o clock in the morning by then the wind was still very light and most of the riders where wondering what the were doing at the beatch at that time of the day including me, the Erik the race director was sure there would be wind and it was!

Around 9 the put tome euro,s in the wind Machine and boom the 6 and 7m got out of the boardbags, Tramontana was here!

My first heat was against Benjamin Dupont a local rider, i had a pretty good heat and won and had to go against Sebastian Garat, I didnt rode that strong in the heat and in the end it was a close heat but luckly enough to pass to the next round, where i had to go up against Alex Pastor.

I definetly wanted to win that heat cause it would put me in the Final already, and i did. In the Final i was Facing Andy Yates.

We both had a good heat but after a super close 3-2 decison the gave it to Andy and i had to do it with a 2nd place. Not bad to .

The days after the wind just didn,t came in and we where getting more and more bored( next time order some Tramontana please) haha.

Also the forecast did,nt look to promising and Erik tried a couple of time,s to start but al the time the wind let us down.

So no Doubel elemination in France for this time.

Anyway still quit stoked on the 2nd place , now get some training done again for the next tourstop!

Whats up ?

A very disappointing start you can say! In the Singles I  lost the semi finals against Alex Pastor after a super close heat wich resulted in a 3-2 for ALex , who was riding really well.  And finally won the singles finale as well.

Because in the losers final I won over kevin and put me in 3th place and kevin in 4th my position. Kind of hard this meant I had to go against kevin again.

In that heat i totally F#$^ it up, I crashed even before my first trick and  just had the worst heat you can imagine.

Nothing to blame it on except myself!  Hopefully I can get my self back together and get some good training in Tarifa and to do better in the next comp!

Yesterday the predicted no wind , but in the end it turned out to be the best day.

So the started with some Best tricks , best kiteloop and big air best trick, i registrated for the best trick.

I had some nice tricks in mind a kiteloop slim 7 but unfortunatly i just couldnt land it, but in the final i landed a kiteloop 7 clean witch was enough to take the 1ste place.

I would like to take this opertunity to thank al my sponsers, parents ,friends, family and everybody that suported me over the last couple of years.

Today we finished up the doubels witch where pretty excited Aaron , kevin and me could still win the world championship .

Aaron who got out pretty early in the singels come back up and realy strong , i rode a good heat against him, and i kept my 3th place after i had to go against kevin , had alright heat. And kevin was riding good. Kevin took the win and with this also the world title.

When i was back on the beach the tall me that i was 2nd in the ranking, so a small dutch party.

BIG  CONGRATS  TO Kevin , well done mate!

I am happy as well had a 2 years during knee injury , after 3 operations i managed to finish the whole year and end up 2nd place.

Now i will have a little bit of holiday and the training starts again for Next year.
