Posted on: 25 January 2010The Last days here in Capetown have been great here , we had a little bit of everything, got some good and big swell again. And the last days the wind dropped a little so we went first to Cape of Good hope( you have to been there hahaha) witch was super cool we saw some monkeys,ostrich and pinguis the trip was just great.(for more pics of the trip look at www.yzpictures.nl )
The day after we went to the suicide gorge , witch isa river with waterfalls in it where you can jump off.
Finaly we didnt find the begining after a 3 our hike so we start of half way, so we didnt jumped the bigest one witch is 22m , we only had around 10m.
Today we went to Horse racing and we made some bets but i lost about 30 euro ahhah, but we had funn.
Last week we also we finished the Brunotti fotoshoot, got some nice pics again.

Posted on: 9 January 2010Well it,s my Firts update of the year 2010, i am a little late but to all of you! A great ,windy and safe 2010!
The year 2009 was a great year for me , i made my comeback after a 2 year knee injury and i end up in 2nd place in the PKRA World tour.
I arrive last sunday here in Cape town with my Girlfriend , we will stay for about 1,5 month more.
It,s the 2nd time we come here and the place is great, there are a lot of friends as wel from al over the world. So never getting bored heheh.
The last days has not been to much wind but we had a nice swell coming in so we had some good surf sessions.
Today the wind kicked back in and it was a normale Big Bay day, in the morning good for 10m and later on kicking in for 6 or 7 metters overpowerd. The Forecast looks pretty good also the wave,s tomorow will be even bigger.( today we had around 4m) So we gonna have some nice days.
Next update will try to get some nice shots ass well.

Here are some last pics of the award ceremony of New Cal. I am still here for an other 2 days ,where just exploring the island a little and hoping there will be some wind today or tomorow.
The island is super nice i will try to make a small selection of the pics i shot and show them here as well.

1st @ PKRA best trick New Cal

Yesterday the predicted no wind , but in the end it turned out to be the best day. 
So the started with some Best tricks , best kiteloop and big air best trick, i registrated for the best trick.
I had some nice tricks in mind a kiteloop slim 7 but unfortunatly i just couldnt land it, but in the final i landed a kiteloop 7 clean witch was enough to take the 1ste place.
I would like to take this opertunity to thank al my sponsers, parents ,friends, family and everybody that suported me over the last couple of years.
